Winter Printable Pack With Literature Works

Winter has arrived and we are thrilled to bring you these fun activities for children to complete this season. Inspired by the Montessori method, we have put together a lovely blend of literature-based works for your homeschool. Enjoy!

📚 What Montessori says about literature-based learning: Maria Montessori believed that language and story are among the most powerful vehicles for intellectual and emotional development. She designed her language curriculum to move from the concrete (sandpaper letters, moveable alphabet) to the abstract (reading, writing, and literature), always grounding new concepts in meaningful, beautiful materials. Research on literature-based learning (Cunningham and Stanovich, 1998, American Educator) confirms that children who engage regularly with books develop significantly larger vocabularies, stronger reading comprehension, and greater general knowledge than those who do not. A 2019 study in Early Childhood Education Journal found that literature-based activity packs integrating multiple subject areas produce measurable gains in engagement and retention compared to single-subject worksheets.

Servings: 17 Montessori works. Share the results and the fun with your friends.

Time: Varies by age and ability of child.

Combine all of the above with a lot of love, fun, patience, excitement, and joy. Blend in shelf works and sensory bins from home if desired. Season with a dash of warm and cozy to ensure you get the full wintery effect. Upon completion, you will find you have completed counting, graphing, games, measuring, writing activities, a bucket list, stitching, and more.

Best served alongside a desire to learn together, and a cup of hot cocoa or tea.
