What is ShillerLearning?

ShillerLearning is the trusted Montessori at Home math program for 4-to-13-year-olds and language arts for 3 to 10-year-olds. Many thousands of parents worldwide (we ship everywhere!) have entrusted ShillerLearning to provide their children with the finest possible mathematics and language arts education.

Founded in 2002 by Larry Shiller, a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) with a degree in mathematics, Our goal is for students of all abilities to fulfill their potential by providing the finest possible curriculum for use in the home.

ShillerLearning developed the curriculum with input from PCTE (Princeton Center for Teacher Education), a premier American Montessori Society teaching certification program, and child learning and psychology experts.

Although Montessori-based, ShillerLearning requires no previous subject (math/language arts) or Montessori knowledge on the part of the educator. Our philosophy is that children aren't taught; they learn. We are here to provide your children with the finest possible learning tools to reach their full potential. As an educator, all you need to do is provide the right learning environment. ShillerLearning, part of the non-profit Rising Stars Foundation, provides Montessori-based math and language arts, the core knowledge areas that let young students flourish, as well as other multisensory resources to homeschool families with children of all abilities, ages 3-16.
